Cape May Music Festival
May 25–June 22The festival includes classical music, jazz and other genres. The majority of the concerts will take places outdoors, at the Episcopal Church of the Advent. The series will begin with an OkCello performance on May 25, and a free performance of the Atlantic Brass Band on the Rotary Bandstand, May 28. $20–$50 per concert.
Wildwoods International Kite Festival
May 26–29This free event is held every year on the beach of Rio Grande Avenue. On Friday, the weekend festivities will start with the Unlocking of the Beach and end on Monday with the World Indoor Kite Competition.
Memorial Beach Challenge for 31 Heroes
May 27,: The sand course features Navy SEAL–approved obstacles. The main competition is followed by a kids’ fun run. All proceeds go to 31 Heroes – an organization which supports veterans, servicemen and women, as well as their families.
Beach Ball Drop
May 27,All weekend, the Atlantic City Boardwalk buzzes with contests. Games, giveaways, and music. Don’t miss the main event: the annual Beach Ball Drop. The Beach Ball Drop will take place at Resorts Casino this Friday at 5pm.
