Are football pitches the same size for all teams?
No, the answer is not. Even in the most prestigious competitions, every team has a different pitch size. All 20 grounds of the Premier League, for example, are different in size. The Premier League has high standards, but the pitch size is not one of them.
The size and shape of the pitch is a key factor in the success rate of the home team. The home team always plays on a certain size of pitch, so they can consistently play at their best. There is a difference between home and away matches.
