Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau – ACB – on Monday caught three government officials, including a sub-inspector (SI), for accepting bribes in separate cases.
Koorelli Saidi Reddy was arrested by ACB in his office for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.18,000 as a reward for a favour done to him. The complainant, Chittepu Saidi Reddy is the maintenance manager of Nukala Venkat Reddy Charitable Hospital, Kothagudem Village, Nalgonda.
Someshwar demanded that Reddy pay a bribe to process the hospital’s drug license application.
In another incident, ACB arrested TSRTC Huzurabad manager S Srikanth for allegedly accepting and demanding Rs.20,000 in bribes from RTC Driver T Ravinder so that the charges brought against him would be dropped. In a separate incident, the ACB arrested Asifabad sub-inspector T Rajya Lakshmi after she reportedly demanded and accepted a Rs.25,000 bribe from a RTC driver T Ravinder to drop charges framed against him.
