Compassion is the next step after cruelty


Thanks to our partnership, 51 dogs and puppies were rescued from commercial breeding centers in the Midwest. The journey was from fear and abuse to healing and hope. The rescued dogs were confined for most of their lives. They never felt a soft touch, or grass under their feet. They now have a chance to live a happier life.

Our team got to work as soon as the Mobile Unit showed up on campus. The volunteers held the dogs, who were timid and scared of people in their arms. They reassured them with kind words and affection. Shih Tzus were among the breeds. Bernedoodles (Poodles), Cocker Spaniels (Cocker Spaniels), and many others. Some tails slowly wagged in a sign of growing trust. Many had matted and soiled fur, obscuring their vision – evidence of the care they had been denied.

Just begun is the effort to give these animals a new start. Each dog is given comprehensive care, including vaccinations, heartworm medication, grooming and behavioral support. These dogs and puppies require more than physical care. They need love, patience, and understanding.
