On February 27, 2024, biologists at San Francisco’s California Academy of Sciences printed that “Mirage,” its resident titan arum, or corpse flower, had bloomed. The huge vegetation bloom as soon as each seven to 10 years. The flora closing only one to a few days and emit a stinky smell reminiscent of rotting flesh. It’s no marvel that titan arums are deemed the “global’s stinkiest flower.”
