New York Hall of Science hosts a family-friendly solar Eclipse watch party on April 8, 2019.


New York Hall of Science will host a Solar Eclipse Watch Party at their outdoor field located at 47-01 111th St. in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park on Monday, April 8 from 1 pm to 5 pm. The event will be held in their outdoor area located at 47-01, 111th St. Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The event is ticketed, and tickets are priced at $10 for each attendee. Families and individuals can experience the eclipse in a structured, educational environment. You can purchase tickets here.

A ticket to the event includes solar safety glasses, arts and crafts inspired by eclipses, and safe viewing options for this once-in-a lifetime event. NYSCI staff will be hosting fun activities for kids to learn more about the solar eclipse, including pinhole viewer workshops for safe eclipse viewing, and ‘astronaut training’ for younger kids. Participants can also enjoy refreshments provided by Queens Night Market and music performed live.
