It’s a twist on an old-fashioned recipe involving marshmallows and coffee, but he adds Irish whiskey. The whiskey’s alcohol evaporates but its distinctive flavor is retained.

If you want to serve the mallow as a dessert, chill it overnight. You can also use leftover coffee from your breakfast instead of having to make more. It yields six servings that are not too large.

This recipe makes 6 servings
Ingredients
  • Strong coffee, 1 cup
  • 20 marshmallows of regular size or 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup Irish whiskey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup confectioners’ sugar (optional)

Instructions
