Davy Russell, a jockey riding T3H499 Tiger Roll, wins the Randox Health Grand National Handicap Chase on Grand National Day at the 2019 Randox Health Grand National Festival.

Six former Grand National champions will return to Aintree in this week and hear the roaring crowd once again.

The legends parade will take place before the race on Saturday, April 13th. This includes the dual winner Tiger Roll (winners 2018 and 2019), Minella Time (2021), and senior veterans Pineau de Re (2014) (21 years old), Neptune Collonges (12), Mon Mome (2009, now 24), and Silver Birch (27 years old).

The Retraining of Racehorses Parade (RoR), which will take place at the Randox Grand National Festival, on Friday (12th April), will feature a number of former racing stars. The Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) parade takes place at 12:40pm. It will feature eight horses that are excelling in post-racing careers.

Blaklion was the winner of the 2017 Becher Chase, had four Grand Nationals and now turns his talents to hunting, hunt races, and fun rides. Lady Buttons is a popular mare, previously trained by Philip Kirby. She has joined her exercise rider.
