On December 5, 1984, the All-American-designed Team Associated RC10 was introduced to the RC world. The RC10 became a legend when it became the first RC car to win both the ROAR 2WD World Championship and the IFMAR 2WD World Championship. This year (2024), marks the 40th Anniversary of the RC10, and we are pleased to offer this special 40th Anniversary Kit.

The same race car technology from the 80s is featured in this anniversary kit. It’s that innovation that has kept Team Associated on top of the RC car racing world for the past 40 years.

The team does it in the dirt

A race car is not a toy. Sure, you’ve heard that before. Team Associated does not design and engineer model race cars. The new RC10 Classic comes with a four-wheel independent suspension that is fully adjustable, a monocoque aluminum alloy tub and race-proven components throughout. Standard equipment includes strength and durability.

RACE-WINNING ENGINEERING. The RC10 suspension uses long-throw, fluid-filled racing dampers for maximum traction. Machined alloy cylinders are used with drill blank shafts to ensure silky smooth operation.

You can adjust it to the same degree as a full-size race car. The A-arm/Ball design allows for precise tuning of camber, ride height and spring rates. Even the VariLok adjustable differential is included. The updated chassis also fits 6 cell NiMH or 2S LiPo batteries. A low center of mass and exceptional ground clearance also contribute to the RC10’s superb balance and performance on any terrain.

Full race rear suspension with durable dogbone and stub-axle drivetrain, pinned modular wheels. Quick knock-off design allows accurate alignment. Low-profile gearboxes use VariLok adjustable diff, and are protected by a motor/heat sink integrated into the gearbox.

The coil-over shocks of an independent suspension system help to smooth out bumps. Precision-molded nylon suspension components are easily color dyed. A-Arm/Ball Joint design allows for static camber, rise in camber, caster and ride height tuning.
