Pershing launched the first hull in its new GTX80 Series. The model has a LOA of 24 meters and a bead of 5.8 metres. It was designed to embody Pershing GTX’s sporty spirit, and spacious living areas.
The GTX80 is collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari; design studio Vallicelli Design; and the group’s engineering department. The yacht is equipped with two decks as well as a sportbridge. It can comfortably house up to eight people in four cabins. There is also a crew’s cabin, which has two beds.
The exterior styling is finished in Pershing Gray and features many innovations. The design is without stanchions which emphasizes the nearly vertical bow and the continuous slightly convex sheerline.
The bulwarks in the bow have been lightened with a longitudinal slot. Those at the stern serve a double purpose: they incorporate the winches, and can be converted into lateral terraces which swing down. It is the first time that such a solution was used on a Pershing-model. The goal is to…
