A new book by an ex-diplomat of Lake Barrington describes the unique cultural exchange described in the book.

The Fulbright Commission on Cyprus was one of only two bicommunal organisations on the island for 52 years. The conflict between the Greek-Turkish side of the island is still ongoing today, but

the Fulbright Commission on Cyprus bridged divides and provided educational opportunities to Cypriots from both sides during its decades-long tenure.
