The 150th anniversary of the founding of the United States is a time to celebrate. Longines Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks and Longines. The Official Partner of the Event, the Official Timekeeper, and Official Watch since 2011, introduces a brand new Mini Dolce Vita Model in a 150-piece limited edition. This elegant timepiece, set with diamonds, comes with a new double strap in pink nappa leather – the color of the Kentucky Oaks – in support of women’s health. In a subtle nod to the equestrian world that has been so dear to Longines since 1869, the holes in the strap are numbered from 1 to 6 in hot print, just like the stirrup leathers that connect the saddle to the horse’s stirrups.
The Mini Dolce Vita comes in a rectangular stainless-steel case measuring 21,50 mm by 29.0 mm. It is set with 38 Top Wesselton Diamonds and equipped with the high-precision L178 Quartz movement. This watch is also water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 bars). This special edition features a Cosmo dial made of matte white and silver discs that have been sandblasted. Roman numerals are complemented by rose gold hands, black lacquered numbers and indexes.
The price is $3,900. The watch will be available at www.longines.com as well as on site at The Kentucky Derby, which will take place on May 4th.
