HYDERABAD: Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskarla was thrilled to receive the Best Actress Award at the 14th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival in New Delhi. The actress received acclaim for her performance as Lachimi, in the 2023 movie ‘Maa Oori Polimera 2. Anil Vishwanath’s directorial also made the Film Festival official selection. Kamakshi Bhaskaral expressed her gratitude by thanking the Polimera2 team for giving her the opportunity and the audience for recognizing her performance.
“I am thrilled to know that my performance in Polimera 2 has been recognised. The jury’s award will make me more responsible. On this occasion, I would like to thank my guru Rathna Shekar garu of Samahaara Theatre as well as acting coach Neeraj Kabir sir. Thank you to all the fans for your love and affection.
