LOWELL — They were expected to be back at the Tsongas Center for state championship weekend when the season began. Foxboro completed the march to record books on Saturday.

Camryn Collins finished her Warriors career by scoring a game-high of 25 points. Foxboro defeated Norwell by 66-43 and won the Division. The Div.3 title is Foxboro’s second consecutive victory after winning Div. The team also won the Div.

“These girls were just amazing,” Foxboro coach Lisa Downs said. “They had to be all year with everyone circling them on the calendar and giving them their best game.”

The Warriors (24-2), who never trailed, dominated the Clippers (23-2), with runs of 15-0, 10-2,-9-0 and 11-2, en route for a lead as high as 25.

“It’s rare for something like this to happen,” Collins said. “It was a hard road the last two years and I’m so happy we could get back and come out on top.”

Foxboro did not allow the Clippers to score a single field goal in the opening quarter. They built a lead of 17-2 on the combined 12 points of Addie and Collins. Collins was particularly effective in the paint, scoring 17 points.
