Fentanyl is the new litmus test for Republican Candidates

Monday, April 15, was the two-year anniversary of the worst day of our life—the day my wife Kathy and I lost our son Joey to fentanyl poisoning. Joey struggled, but we did not imagine that the poison infiltrating from our enemies’ southern border would take his life.
Our family isn’t alone. There has been a 1,000-percent increase in fentanyl deaths among young people from 2020–2023. Fentanyl is responsible for the deaths of over 100,000 American children and adolescents every year. More than 300 Americans perish every day due to fentanyl.
