We don’t need statistics to tell us that men are less likely to visit their healthcare practitioner than women. In fact, it’s not uncommon for many men to only visit their GP following a health scare.

But chaps, it shouldn’t take a health scare to get you to the doctor.

Looking after yourself generally means eating well, getting plenty of sleep (seven hours at least a night), and exercising regularly. It also means avoiding alcohol, processed food, and refined sugars as much as possible, and being aware that there may be health issues ahead.

What specifically? You know your body and you know when something doesn’t feel right, even if it is tempting to push this feeling to one side.

Low Testosterone

One reason why you may feel unwell could be a drop in testosterone levels. Menopause can also be referred to as male menopause.
