WarangalK. Chandrasekhar Rao (former chief minister and BRS leader) predicted that there would be a by-election in the Station Ghanpur Assembly seat within three months, as Kadiam Srihari ended his political career. Thatikonda Rajaiah will be the BRS Party’s MLA.
KCR told the crowd at a Hanamkonda roadshow on Sunday that they should question Srihari as to why he left the BRS, even though it had honored him with several posts such as deputy chief Minister and MLC. He was also made MLA after the BRS gave him the party ticket.
“The people should teach such traitor a fitting lesson by electing BRS MP candidate Dr Sudheer Kumar in the Warangal Lok Sabha elections with a bumper majority,” he appealed.
On Sunday, the roadshow took place from Adalat Circle through Nakkalagutta to Hanamkonda Chowrasta. It also included Ambedkar Circle and Public Garden. The BRS Chief thanked people for coming in large numbers to the corner meeting despite the extreme heat of 42 degrees Celsius.
