It can be difficult to help children navigate the constantly changing world of social media and technology. Nevertheless, it’s an important part of today’s parenting agenda. Entertainment consumption influences who we are as people, what we think, and our beliefs. That’s especially true of impressionable children.

On our Focus on the Family Broadcast “Becoming a Screen Savvy Family,” we’re looking at what God’s word says about teaching children discernment in entertainment choices.

I am joined in studio by two members of the team. Plugged in staff. Adam Holz, Director of Plugged in Paul Asay hosts our podcast The Plugged In Show. Plugged in’s senior associate editor.

Other media reviewers assess entertainment based on the level of enjoyment. Plugged In evaluates materials according to their positive or negative impact on the mind and soul.
