As a student in eastern practices like yoga and meditation, it was taught to me early on that intentions have power. We all know that our thoughts, good or bad, can create our reality.

In my personal development as a writer and yogi, having a clearly defined intention is a crucial factor. The clarity of a defined intention helps to focus both the energy required to create as well as the actions needed to do so. I have been working with intention for different reasons- sometimes to combat a negative thought that just won’t quit. Most often, I use intention to set my course and empower me.
