Honda introduces new graphics to the XR650L by 2024. Honda XR650L is a dual sport icon that has been around since 1993. Its 31-year-old history has seen very few mechanical updates. This 100mm bore and 80mm stroke big-bore thumper has a 43.2mm CV carburetor paired with a 5-speed transmission. Vibration is reduced by a counterbalancer that’s driven by gears. On the Cycle World The 2023 Honda XR650L was tested on the Dynojet250i dynamometer and produced 34.05 hp (6,120 rpm) and 31.42 lb.ft. (5320 rpm). The 2024 model will have similar power numbers with no modifications other than a blue stripe added to the gas tank (2,8 gallons).

The chassis components of the previous model year remain unchanged. The 2024 Honda XR650L features a 43mm telescopic Showa Fork with compression-damping adjustability, 11.6 inches travel, a Pro-Link Showa Shock with 11 inches travel and a semidouble-cradle, steel frame. The brake system is a dual-piston, 256mm disc, with a single piston caliper at the back. The full-size offroad wheels (21 in front and 18 in the rear) offer a wide range of tire options to suit all users.
Honda XR650L gets a minor update in 2024. Red and blue stripes replace the black and red. This is a good thing, even though it’s not a big deal.
