Yoga to Honour Nature’s Dormant Period
The winter landscape, with its bleakness and lack of color, calls us to slow our pace. We are reminded to conserve energy by the skeletal and leafless trees. Hibernating mammals sleep through winter snowstorms. Nature is resting and is undergoing a dormant period.
We all know, deep down, that our health depends on the ability to live in harmony and with the natural rhythms of the Sun, Moon, Earth, and seasons.
