Union Glashütte Releases Noramis Chronograph Sport with Gradient Dials

Union Glashütte Noramis has an exciting update as the year draws to a conclusion. Expanding upon the brand’s first water sports watch unveiled in 2021, the German watchmaker now offers three chronographs with captivating color variations: blue, anthracite, and turquoise. The water-resistant watch is rated at 20 bars. Noramis Chronograph Sports Models feature retro features, such as mushroom-shaped pushers, scratch resistant sapphire with a high-domed profile, and unidirectional rotating bezels.

Adhering to the popular Bicompax style, the chronograph subdials are positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock. The gradient dials are a seamless transition between lighter colors in the middle and darker shades at the edges. This mirrors the aesthetic of three-hand versions.

The dials have a slight domed shape that highlights the gradient color, creating an effect that changes depending on how much light is being emitted. The triangular, satin-finished hands and Superluminova-coated chronograph tips and hour markers enhance the readability of the watch underwater or under low light conditions. Consistent with the Noramis collection, the date display is seamlessly integrated into the small seconds totalizer at nine o’clock.

The 43mm case is decorated with a ceramic bezel and houses the self winding UNG27.S2. The movement has a silicon anti-magnetic spring, and a power reserve of 65 hours. The sapphire case back allows you to admire the movement’s fine details.

The Noramis Chronograph Sports retails at approximately $3,850 USD when converted into USD.
