The Great Anthony Richardson Fantasy Football Debate

You’ve heard about the Anthony Richardson fantasy-football slander online. It could be the SEC fan you know with their “Trust Me, I Watched Him” logic. It could be someone on social networks who is unable to get past their Trey Lance 2022 blues. It could be your fantasy football podcast host who is enamored with Skyy Moore or Laviska Shenault, “undersized players” with little real-life application but cool names. But he has a blind spot for this generational talent.
This debate is painful to me. I was among the first Josh Allen fans on the Internet. Back in 2018, when I worked for Stokastic.com, a fantasy data and bet analytics site, this debate hurts me. Allen’s slow start was due to his adjustment from Wyoming’s lesser competition (and public scrutiny). He then returned from an injury and had four games where he gained at least 100 rushing yards.
