Tata Sons is the parent company. Air India Has introduced a brand new identity and a fresh look for the airline. The new design and logo replaces the airline’s well-known mascot. “Maharaja.” This move comes as part of Tata Group’s ongoing efforts to transform Air India since its acquisition more than a year ago.
Inspiration by Tradition
- The new brand design draws inspiration from Air India’s classic Indian window shape. The traditional window has been reimagined as a gold window frame, now becoming a central element of the airline’s fresh look. The new logo, called ‘The Vista,’ represents limitless possibilities, progressiveness, and a confident outlook for the airline’s future.
- Campbell Wilson is the CEO and MD at Air India. Air India’s new image is described as confident, bold and vibrant. However, it still retains its warm connection to India’s rich hospitality tradition and its rich heritage.
