A new Swiss study has found that radical leftism can be linked with both psychopathic and narcissistic tendencies.
“Individuals with dark personalities – such as high narcissistic and psychopathic traits – are attracted to certain ideologies and forms of political activism,” said the researchers, citing the 2020 BLM riots as one example.
The report claims that those who are predisposed to leftist causes by their authoritarian instincts do not care about social equality or justice, regardless of the rhetoric they use. They will happily engage in violence, censorship and coercion to satisfy “egocentric needs.”

The University of Bern researchers Ann Krispenz, Alex Bertrams noted that previous research on authoritarianism was almost exclusively focused on rightist political groups.
The leftist academy has downplayed previous attempts to examine left-wing autocracy, even though empirical studies have found evidence that authoritarianism exists on both sides of the political spectrum.
