Collaboration with The Horophile The ka Amr Sindi, a renowned marketing consultant for watch brands, Swiss boutique label Louis Erard Presenting a trio of limited editions that are sure to capture your attention. Petite Seconde Fine dress watches collection.
These exclusive models collectively named The Horophile and La Petite Seconde Metropolis Louis Erard The limited editions of 59 pieces each showcase an authentic Art Deco aesthetic. With three alluring color ways to choose from – slate-grey, salmon, and tobacco – this collection beautifully embodies the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, inviting us on a time trip to the New York of the 1920s.

It is evident that the Art Deco style was recreated with meticulous attention to details. Each element, from the typography to the reinterpretation in numerals, was carefully selected. The dual-traced numbers printed on the brushed chapter rings evoke New York Art Deco architecture. Moving inward, fine 3D concentric grooves lend “architectural” depth to the dial while capturing the interplay of light.

The classic subdial for the small seconds of the Petite Seconde was also transformed in a beautiful way. It now has no indices, except for a dot at 12 noon. Reflecting the Art Deco ethos, the “Empire” hands evoke the spirit of the Empire State Building, the iconic Art Deco skyscraper built in 1931.

The case, which has a diameter 39mm, is in the classic Petite Seconde fashion. Behind the sapphire case back ticks the automatic elaboré grade Sellita SW261-1 movement. Openworked rotor with lacquered LE logo adorns this high-decorated movement. This tested and proven movement features a stop-second feature as well as a 38-hour power reserve.

The La Petite Seconde Metropolis Louis Erard and The Horophile executions come with calfskin straps made of grained leather that are easily interchangeable thanks to the catch-spring bars.
