When we do something new, fear is a normal reaction. When used correctly, fear can be a useful tool to keep us out of trouble. Fear of travel can be overwhelming and prevent us from experiencing some wonderful things. If you’re feeling afraid and considering cancelling your travel plans – this post is for you!
When we do something for the very first time, we all get nervous. It’s understandable that you would be afraid to travel with your pet, when you think of all the possible disasters.
I’ve been where you are. I’ve been there too many times to count. When I began planning my first road trip with Ty & Buster. When Rod and me decided to sell our home, and move the dogs with us into the RV. First time I drove a motorhome. When I took over driving the bigger motorhome after we switched the smaller one. Myles and me on our first solo cross country road trip.
I could’ve chosen a completely different path at any one of these points. Nobody would have been able to blame me. Many people in my personal life would have probably argued that I should stick to what is comfortable and familiar.
The thought of what I would have missed makes me cry! How can you measure twelve years?
