Motive Studio's Single-Player Iron Man Game Being Developed In Unreal Engine 5

Electronic Arts’ Motive Studio announced in September last year that it was developing a single player Iron Man game, the first of a new EA/Marvel partnership. Patrick Klaus, the Motive Studio’s General Manager, revealed some new details in today’s studio update. The Iron Man game will be developed in Unreal Engine 5, he said. 

Motive released their Dead Space remake earlier in the year. Klaus says that with this behind them, “the studio’s attention has now switched to the Iron Man projects, giving us an opportunity to work (and to play!) He says the team is still early in pre-production, and that they are taking their time to lay down the best foundation possible for development. He said the team was still in pre-production, taking its time and laying the best foundation possible for development. Despite that, he says, they are finding “so much opportunity to explore story design and gameplay with Iron Man.”

Motive, which also created the Community Council for its Dead Space remake in order to provide feedback on “pretty well everything,” has done so with its Marvel and Iron Man remake. Klaus shares the news in this studio update. The team chose Unreal Engine 5 to power the game.
