This report contains data from six online surveys that were conducted among U.S. adults between June 14th and July 21st, 2021. Three of the samples were sourced from different probability-based online panels, one of which was Pew Research Center’s American Trends Panel (ATP). The three remaining samples were sourced from three different online opt in sample providers. The study involved interviews with 29,937 U.S. Adults, roughly 5,000 for each sample. Interviews were conducted simultaneously in English and Spanish. The study’s purpose is a methodological one, so the names of vendors and samples have been masked.
The ATP case studies were surveyed following normal procedures. The vendor that administers probability panel 3 programmed and administered the survey. The vendor who coordinated the study programmed and administrated the surveys of the remaining probability panel, the three opt-in sample and the other two panels.
