The French shipyard Wauquiez began building boats in 1965 with the Elizabethan 29. The Centurion series, which was first introduced in 1968 with the Centurion 32, is well-known to many sailors. In 2014, a new version, the Centurion 56, marked the return to this well-known brand.

Now comes the Wauquiez 55, for which the builder offered a sneak peek during the recent boat show in Düsseldorf, Germany—and which is scheduled to make its debut in the flesh at the Cannes Yachting Festival later this year.

The Wauquiez55 is the debut model of a brand new range. With a design by Marc Lombard, it screams a fully modern sailing boat.
