Governors across the country are working on solutions that make sense, regardless of party affiliation or state. This will help to speed up and deliver benefits to energy and infrastructure nationwide. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and Inflation Reduction Act have created a historic opportunity for infrastructure projects to be funded with $1.4 trillion from energy, transportation and telecommunications.
In February 2023 Governors established a bipartisan Energy and Infrastructure Working Group with the goal of developing solutions to streamline permit processes.
