Hundreds of college students dream about hearing their name called at the NFL Draft every year. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many. Each year, dozens of undrafted players are able to join an NFL roster. Some even contribute meaningfully every Sunday. This is a ranking of the top undrafted players on each NFC West squad.
For this list I considered team contributions as well as career achievements.
Arizona Cardinals- Kurt Warner
He transformed from a washed-up to a career-reviver.
Kurt Warner, who had a disappointing season with the Giants and a bad departure from the Rams, was signed by Arizona as he wanted to mentor Matt Leinart. Warner took over when Leinart was injured and performed as well as any other quarterback that season. Warner won the 2008 preseason and was the first quarterback to lead the team into the Super Bowl. In the 2009 postseason, he threw five touchdowns and completed 29 of 33 passes for 379 yards in a 51–45 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The combined score was the highest in NFL history.
