Witcher 3 fans will know the frustration that comes with a major overhaul and all of your mods suddenly become incompatible or bugged. That game's next-gen update made a lot of work for modders, and Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is no different. CD Projekt completely disabled mods for the Phantom Liberty DLC release, and modders are only now getting their work online.

Cyber Engine Tweaks is a basic tool that modders use to make changes and add-ons. It’s not glamorous, but it’s essential. A framework that gives mods access to Cyberpunk 2077's internal scripting, and gives cheaty players access to the debug console, Cyber Engine Tweaks is now compatible with version 2.0. Modder yamashi warns modders to be aware that mods that rely upon Cyber Engine Tweaks may also require updates in order to work properly.

RED4ext – which is basically a Skyrim Script Expander of the Cyberpunk Mod Scene – has also been updated. Script extensions and script loaders ArchiveXL TweakXL Codeware have all been updated.
