The 10 Miniature Schnauzer colors
1. Solid Black
Black Miniature Schnauzers can be found in many breeders and are one of AKC’s three recognized colors. They are born with a completely black coat, but as the dog grows older, it may develop white patches at the chest, chin or toes. However, these markings are supposed to fade, and a dog won’t be AKC-recognized if they persist past the puppy stage.
2. Salt & Pepper
One of the most famous and strikingly handsome colors, salt & pepper Miniature Schnauzers can vary from light gray to dark gray. What’s unique about their coat is that their fur is banded, meaning it changes color along the length of the hairs. Fur is often a combination of shades of black, gray and white.
3. Black & Silver
